Presidential Romania candidates too similar ideas?

One by one they put their ballot, hoping to become the next president of Romania. The Social Democrat Victor Ponta, outgoing Prime Minister, is favorite to face Klaus Iohannis, derived from the German minority and mayor of the city of Sibiu.

For a chance to win this right candidate relies on voters in large cities.

In our special correspondent, Costi Rogozanu analyst, says "Victor Ponta, leftist, social-democrat, not even hiding it right; he also proposed a premier right, which led a right-wing government with the former President Traian Basescu. "

Therefore sometimes difficult to find a difference between the two candidates. Both have probably a common, corruption nibbling Romanian politics.

"I voted for the European way of Romania," said one voter.

"I want a president, adds an old man, who can make decisions, that is strong, not weak and maintain a balance in the country, without being liable, without being influenced by political parties."

Voters expect mostly better living conditions in one of the poorest countries in the EU.

"If the public images of the protagonists of the Romanian presidential elections differ so

Net says Laura Davidescu, special correspondent in Bucharest, it is not as if their political projects. We do not see

clear what path should

take Romania to overcome its current status: that of a country on the periphery of the European Union. "
