Black in Prague to protect Czech presidents, Slovak, Hungarian, Polish and German all sorts of projectiles umbrellas: the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution gave the measure of the unpopularity of the head of the Czech State Milos Zeman. But it is the German President Joachim Gauck, who was doing fees, reached by an egg in the temple.
Still Prague, more than 5,000 demonstrators brandished a red card against President Zeman, elected a year ago. They accuse him including his pro-Putin positions in the Ukrainian conflict and human rights, but also its vulgarity.
While the Czech Republic and Slovakia honor the courage of freethinkers in 1989, 50% of Czechs believe that Milos Zeman pilot the country backwards to a time when the Czechs were under the control of the Soviet Union. Clearly, he betrays the values of the Velvet Revolution.
