Several heads of state in West Africa met in Ouagadougou to try to implement the transition to Burkina Faso. The presidents of Ghana, Senegal and Nigeria play mediators.

Mediators also met with opposition leaders.
"If there is no solution in the next ten to fifteen days, people will again manifest. Those who died during the protests should not have died for nothing. But we think something will happen in a few days, "says Rose-Marie Compaoré, a member of an opposition party.
