Of Mong Kok, Hong Kong, the scene of violent clashes in the night between Wednesday and Thursday between pro-democracy protesters and security forces. Mong Kok is one of the sites where militants continue their civil disobedience movement. These are the first clashes of this kind for two weeks.
The protest lasted for 40 days now. Students head protesters demanding more democracy in the former British colony and the end of the grip of the Chinese authorities on the local authority.
