The trial of Picasso's electrician, accused of receiving stolen 271 master works, including collages, oil paintings and sketchbooks, opened Tuesday in Grasse.
Pierre Le Guennec is now retired, he is 75 years old and he assures that the works were given to him by Picasso himself and his wife Jacqueline when conducting work in their home.
Peter Guennec and his wife kept their treasure for 37 years in their garage until he asked for authentication certificates to the heirs of the painter continues today in court.
