Yemen is carnage taking place in the capital this morning, at least 26 dead and 50 wounded in an explosion. The attack occurred, according to the correspondent of AFP on site, using a minibus which ended in a scrap heap.
The bomb was triggered remotely, an official of the security services. It killed and wounded candidates from enrolling in the police academy.
The last bombing in Yemen referred Sunday a gathering of Shia militiamen in Dhamar, south of Sanaa, killing four people. Another anti-Shiite attack had 49 fatalities on 1 January in Ibb in central Yemen.
