A month before the elections in Britain, it is always Nigel Farage who gloats. The leader of the anti-immigration party Ukip however, is not leading in the polls, but everyone talks about it. On Monday, his party has registered the accession of a new member, a defector from the Conservative party. Mike Whitehead is an elected local north-east England. He was removed from the party led by David Cameron. He then spontaneously turned to the advantage of Nigel Farage.
In recent months, several British politicians have already left the ranks of the Conservative Party and joined the Ukip movement.
The poll of 7 May could mark a clear evolution of the traditional two-party between conservatives (led by David Cameron) and labor (led by Ed Miliband). While these two teams are in the lead, neck-and-neck in the polls. But they lose ground to smaller parties, including the Ukip Nigel Farage.
