The Islamic State Group (EI) would hold hostage nine expatriates, an Austrian and a Czech recently captured in Libya. This is indicated by the Austrian Foreign Ministry, who said to be based on reliable information. They were captured last Friday in an attack against the al-Ghani oil field, where they worked. Among them there were also four Filipinos, two Bangladeshis and a Ghanaian.
This is not the first time that the Islamic State of talk in Libya, a country in chaos, which is shared between the two governments. Last month, the jihadist organization claimed responsibility for the beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts kidnapped on Libyan soil.
