The European Commission must adopt urgent measures to contain the spread of bird flu cases found in a breeding center in the Netherlands. It is derived from the H5N8 strain of the virus, highly pathogenic. It allows contamination from animals to humans

"We'll clean poultry with CO2. This will take some time and kill chickens in stages. When you get the signal that it's safe, we enter and withdraw the hand dead chickens. The same strain was discovered in early November in northern Germany, a first in Europe.
Yesterday, the UK reported new cases of bird flu in Yorkshire, without indicating the strain, adding however that the risk to public health was very low.
