The slogan of the event was the fight against racism and intolerance and, according to police estimates, fifteen thousand people marched through the streets of Cologne.
The peaceful march was organized where, on October 26, a far-right demonstration took place. Dozens of police personnel have been wounded in clashes with militants of the extreme right current that crystallizes and reinforces recent months in Germany, around slogans against radical Islam.
