Two young people wanted to commit a fatal shooting in a public place on Saturday before killing himself, according to Canadian law enforcement. They said that one of them, an American of 23 years, was arrested from the airport and the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia in the east of the country. The other, a 19-year-old Canadian was found dead in a residence of Timberlae the outskirts of Halifax. A 17-year-old suspected of being related to this plot has also been "arrested on Friday."
"This is a group of individuals (...) who wanted to commit violent acts against citizens. But there is nothing in the survey to describe this act of terrorism, "said Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia, Brian Brennan. He said that if the group had been able to put his plan into action, many people might have died.
