Japan has launched a new high speed rail line.
The shinkansen now reads Tokyo to the ancient city of Kanazawa, in the center, famous for its castle and traditional arts.
It will now two hours and 28 minutes to complete this trip, saving time for nearly an hour for the Japanese.
The first high-speed line was launched in 1964 in Japan. It connected Tokyo to Osaka.
