Kiev, contemplation and emotion to one year after Maidan

In Kiev, Independence Square turned into a place of remembrance and contemplation. Portraits by tens, flowers and candles recall that a year ago, security forces opened fire on pro-European protesters. February 20, 2014, was a bloody day for Ukraine. Today, people remember the dead Maidan.
