More fear than harm for window cleaners of the World Trade Center


One of the cables of the nacelle two window cleaners on the World Trade Center in New York dropped yesterday when they were in 69th floor of the tallest tower in the United States.


Perched 240 meters above the ground on the south side of the building, both experienced workers were still in harness. Nearly a hundred rescuers had been mobilized to help them. Firefighters eventually cut the diamond saw the three layers of the glass facade at the 68th floor.


Window cleaners did not suffer in the end as a "mild hypothermia" and a good fright.
