Burkina Faso: Isaac Zida agrees to return power to civilians


The power will be delivered to civilians within two weeks. This is Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida engagement at the head of Burkina Faso. It multiplies the consultations. "We want to ensure that civilians are at the head of the transition," recalls Joseph Tiendrebeogo, president of the Confederation of Trade Unions-FO-Free Trade Union who also met. A popular uprising led to the resignation of President Blaise Compaore on Friday after 27 years of rule. On Tuesday, France acknowledged facilitating the evacuation of the country.
