Russian Maksim Surayev, American Reid Wiseman and German Alexander Gerst returned to earth on Monday morning.
Soyuz spacecraft in which they arose were safely in the intended in the steppes of Kazakhastan hour.
The three men had gone into space May 29 So they spent a little more than five months aboard the International Space Station.
They conducted dozens of scientific experiments during the mission, even performing spacewalks.
They left the ISS on Sunday leaving aboard two Russians and one American. These will be joined in two weeks by a crew of three.
