The transitional charter signed in Burkina Faso


The Burkina Faso on the way to a return to normal. The charter of the transition, which should serve as an interim constitution was officially signed in the general euphoria Sunday afternoon in Ouagadougou by the military and civilians.


It was confirmed by a unanimous vote Thursday night.


Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida, strongman of the country since the fall of Blaise Compaoré, was long applause when he affixed his signature on the document, marking his acceptance of a return to civilian rule.


Zida took control of the country on October 31, after the fall of President Blaise Compaore, driven by the street after 27 years of reign.


The future head of the transition period that will last a year before the elections in November 2015, should be designated in the night.
