The drummer of the hard rock band AC / DC is accused by the New Zealand justice for attempting to hire a hitman to commit two murders.
Phil Rudd was presented Thursday to the court of Tauranga, a coastal city where the musician has a property.
By performing a search of the house, police also discovered narcotics (methamphetamine and cannabis).
The judges did not reveal the identity of people that wanted to get rid of Phil Rudd.
The drummer was released on bail. A new hearing is scheduled for November 27. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
It is a blow to the famous group of hard-rock, in September, Malcolm Young, a founder of AC / DC announced he was suffering from dementia and therefore put it down in order to treatment.
40-year career, AC / DC has sold over 200 million records worldwide.
