Stradivarius: 7 years in prison for mugging


One of the three thieves Stradivarius five million dollars was sentenced to seven years in prison by a court in Wisconsin, USA.


There are nine months Salahadyn Salah, and two accomplices, armed, had stolen the Stradivarius of concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Frank Almond, after a performance at Wisconsin Lutheran College.


The musician had been struck by a taser. He had requested the maximum sentence, that is to say 10 years.


In May, the other two accomplices had been sentenced to 3½ years in prison.
