Here we go, Rosetta dropped his little robot Philae. The European Space Operations Centre of ESA (European Space Agency) in Darmstadt, Germany, confirmed.
The landing is expected in about seven hours, around 16:30 CET. From the first moments, the robot Philae deployed its landing gear, its antennas and mast ROMAP.
This robot was folded 1m3. It is adorned with 10 instruments. He traveled aboard the Rosetta spacecraft in 10 years.
Philae is 22 miles to go before landing on Comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
This is the first time a human machine will land on a comet.
