Hundreds of teachers of an extremist union (the teacher Coordination Guerrero, or Ceteg) burned yesterday the Parliament of the State of Guerrero, where 43 students were probably killed. Protesters stormed the premises where no member was present, then they set fire to the room of the plenary. Earlier, the protesters were taken to the local Department of Education seat.
43 students disappeared Sept. 26 in Iguala in Guerrero, after a joint attack police and drug traffickers. Far from the simmering discontent in Mexico where these demonstrators accuse President Enrique Peña Nieto of being responsible for the crisis.
