Approximately 3,000 of extreme right activists have gathered on Saturday in Hanover, Germany, under the banner of the struggle against Salafism.
Several events were originally scheduled across the country, but only the gathering was held under a heavy police surveillance, in fear of flooding.
On October 26, the same right-wing movement had organized the first event in Cologne, which had sparked outrage across Germany.
On the sidelines of the event, a camera recorded an exchange between a pass and activists.
Observing the event, said the pass is "against the Salafis who behead" but refused "to show with neo-Nazis."
- "We are not neo Nazis, but it's better to be with the neo-Nazis with the Salafists" replied one protester him before his comrade resume and speaks of "patriots."
The new right-wing movement, called "Hooligans against the Salafis," was born in September on the internet, and many Germans fear it could grow, thanks to the offensive the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
A Hanover this Saturday against a protest was organized by leftist parties to protest against the extreme right.
