Intensification of air strikes against the Islamic state group

Dozens of airstrikes targeted sites of the Islamic State in Iraq group. On images provided by the US Army, a base near Mosul, in the west of the country disappears in flames. All week, the strikes have intensified. Fourteen in two days, between Tuesday and Wednesday. They took place in Iraq but also in Syria,

Kobané near to the Turkish border. The main targets are for command centers, vehicles and groups of jihadi fighters. Among them, an American source suggests the presence of the self-proclaimed caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the Islamist group. But the information has not been confirmed yet.
