Intervention Petro Poroshenko on the agreement ripped in Minsk after the European summit in Brussels. Ukrainian President said that its implementation for a cease-fire will "not easy".
"The negotiations were very difficult, and we do not expect an easy implementation of the process. Ukraine has always been very responsible in the implementation of the Minsk Agreement, contrary to the other party. This is also why I came to Brussels to coordinate our next step with European Union partners. The EU has again demonstrated, as usual, a true partnership with Ukraine, and I want to thank President Tusk and all leaders of the Member States for this support.
Mr. Poroshenko was speaking next to Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, after presenting the results of the meeting in Minsk before the heads of state and government of the EU in Brussels.
