A horrible act again.

The Islamic State group released yesterday a video showing the beheading of men he presents as 21 Egyptian Coptic Christian denomination recently kidnapped in Libya.

Murder immediately condemned by President Al-Sissi who announced national mourning for seven days and the convocation of the National Defence Council. The head of state stressed in a televised address that his country reserved "the right to respond in the manner and at the right time to punish these murderers."

The Coptic Orthodox Church has denounced a "heinous crime."

Al-Azhar, one of the most prestigious theological institutions of Sunni Islam based in Cairo, described the killings as "barbaric."
