Greek debt: not a "battle of the Wild West" (Varoufakis)

Is Greece trying to create a diversion or actually find ways out of the crisis? According to the government in Athens, there is no single solution to clear the debt.

And this, for the Minister of Finance, that would not benefit Greece:

"My message to all our German friends, says Yanis Varoufakis, and of course, all Europeans is that we will not play in bad faith, because we are not moving in the confrontation. This is how journalists like to describe it as a kind of battle of the Wild West. It's not that. These are European governments that have a common goal to agree to common benefits, an agreement that minimizes the cost of the crisis to the average European, not just for the Greeks or the Germans, but from a perspective European. "

France, for its part, said it was "reasonable" the time requested by the new Greek government ... But do not attempt to oppose Paris and Berlin on the issue.

Michel Sapin, French Minister of Finance:

"Nothing can be solid and sustainable Europe without deep agreement between Germany and France."

Michel Sapin found that a Greek debt relief was possible, but only after having agreed on reforms and sound fiscal path.
