Clashes erupted Thursday afternoon in Rome between Dutch hooligans and Italian police.
Thousands of Feyenoord club fans made the trip to the Italian capital to attend the 16th final of the Europa League between their club AS Roma.
Some had already pointed out Wednesday night throwing bottles against the police. There, on Thursday afternoon, the violence has increased tenfold.
Hooligans, largely alcoholic, had gathered on the Spanish in the city center, and they again threw projectiles at police. Toll of the clashes: 13 police officers injured and 5 hooligans.
Police also conducted a thirty arrests.

In any case, the mayor of Rome has expressed his anger at the violence of the afternoon. He contacted the Embassy of the Netherlands to hold accountable.
The Prime Minister also said expect an apology from the Dutch club.
