A Japanese student filed a complaint for rape in India, in the city of Jaipur, popular for its palaces.
The police were looking Monday the alleged rapist. According to the young woman of twenty, the man would have offered Sunday services as a tourist guide, he would have to visit different sites in bike and raped her in a secluded location before taking flight.
"The tourist said he had offered him food that may have been mixed with the drug," said a police officer, adding that blood tests were carried out on the Japanese tourist. She was examined by doctors and working with the police investigation.
Already in January, six men were indicted for the abduction and gang rape of a 22 year old Japanese tourist. She was held hostage for a month after visiting a Buddhist temple of Bodh Gaya in Bihar.
Sexual crimes against women are common in India where the gang rape of a dead Indian student from his injuries in December 2012 sparked a wave of condemnation.
