The final tribute to Boris Nemtsov Muscovites. Several hundred people gathered Tuesday in front of the remains of the Russian opponent, exposed to the Sakharov Center. The funeral took place in the presence of foreign diplomats, including Ambassador of the United States or Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Others, however, were denied access to the ceremony, due to European sanctions against Moscow. This is the case of the President of the Polish Senate or a Latvian MEP, who says he was discharged last night at aéoroport. Also absent, the opponent Russian Alexei Navalny, currently in custody and has not obtained permission to attend the funeral.
Boris Nemtsov will be buried in Moscow Cemetery Troïekourovskoïe. He was murdered Friday night on a bridge in the Russian capital, a short walk from the Kremlin. The investigation has not identified the killers.
