Crash A320: Spain mourns


An official three-day mourning from Wednesday has been declared by the Spanish authorities after the crash of the A320 Germanwings in the French Alps. According to the Vice President of the Spanish Government, 45 passengers of flight 4U9525 wore Spanish surnames.


In "sign of solidarity with all affected countries" and "affection" toward the relatives of victims, the Spanish Congress of Deputies met on Tuesday a minute of silence. The senators did the same.


A minute's silence was also scheduled for all governments on Wednesday at noon.


In Barcelona Airport, which had taken off the A320, the families of victims were transferred Tuesday in a nearby hotel. According to Reuters, buses were prepared to allow them to go near the scene of the crash. And, although it was announced by the French police as body recovery could take days.
