Between the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards before February 22, the 68th BAFTAs were very expected last night in London.
Eddie Redmayne, a rising star of British cinema was crowned as Best Actor for his portrayal of the astrophysicist Stephen Hawking who was present at the ceremony.

Ultra favorite for the Oscars.
But the big winner of the evening is "Boyhood". Achieved in 39 days by Richard Linklater, this absolutely unique film in the history of cinema is played on a 12-year period with a rare simplicity that really touched professionals and the general public. Boyhood won the Bafta for Best Film, Best Director and the Best Actress in Supporting Role for Patricia Arquette.
