Taiwan: the aircraft passed within a meter of a building before crashing


New images show that the victims of the spectacular crash of the twin-engine TransAsia could have been even more numerous.

On this recording, it appears that the aircraft passed within a meter of an apartment building before crashing into a river in Taiwan.


Only 15 of the 58 people aboard the aircraft survived.


The balance of the crash is at least 40 people killed while 3 passengers are still missing.


A funeral was held on Tuesday in Taipei, a week after the crash.


According to investigators, while one of the two engines of the plane was off, the pilot would have made the mistake of cut the other engine to try to rekindle the faulty engine.


For now, Transavia has decided to extend the ground maintains most of its propeller planes.
