Mogadishu hotel frequented by many parliamentarians and members of the government, was beaten a lunch time with a violent terrorist attack.
Police said at least six people were killed and there are many serious injuries. Among them, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Transport, and a deputy.
A car bomb down the hotel door, and then a suicide bomber activated his explosive belt inside the building.
Thick black smoke billowed from the hotel, according to images broadcast on social networks.
The attack was claimed by the Shebab Islamists.
