In France, the National Assembly rejected Thursday the censure motion filed by the opposition against the government. The text drew only 234 votes while there was at least 289 to overthrow Manuel Valls and his team.
The Prime Minister had pledged on Tuesday the responsibility of his government, by having recourse to Article 49-3 of the Constitution to pass the , better known by the name "Macron law," the name of the Minister of Economy, Emmanuel Macron, author of the text.
The opposition responded by filing a motion of censure.
