The accident occurred north of Zurich, Rafz. There would be five injured, one serious. The previous record, reported by a lifeguard, has been significantly lowered.
According to first reports, early this morning, a regional train would suddenly stopped in the middle lane before being hit by another train coming from behind.
The seriously injured would be the driver of the second train.
Several cars of the first train were lying on the side of the track.
Ambulances, fire fighters, and helicopters were sent there.
Traffic was stopped on the line.
