A very important meeting took place this evening in Moscow: Merkel, Hollande came to present to President Putin their peace plan for eastern Ukraine, which is still unknown content. The plan, backed by Washington, would take the spirit of the Minsk Agreement, they say the side of the Elysee, where it is very cautious about the chances of success of this Franco-German mediation. It could offer in exchange for an immediate cease-fire, greater decentralization of breakaway regions. Merkel, Hollande could hold a press conference in the evening, if negotiations succeed.
