Yemen heavy fighting around Aden Airport


Aden in southern Yemen has been the scene of fierce fighting between forces loyal to President Hadi and rebel units, linked to former President Saleh and the Houthi militia took control of the capital . These clashes left ten dead and fifty wounded.


The rebels attacked the airport sector, where they were driven out by supporters of President Hadi after an intense battle. On the tarmac, a plane to Cairo was evacuated and passengers redirected to the terminal, where you could hear gunfire and explosions. Air traffic was interrupted.


Furthermore, a combat aircraft targeted without touching, the resort's Presidential Palace. President Hadi was evacuated to a safe place.
