Images are they a montage? Or are they the contrary true but deliberately presented as false?
The now famous finger salute the Greek finance minister to Germany has been debated for its recovery by a satirical program ZDF.
Its presenter confessed that it was a montage, and Yanis Varoufakis himself assured that he never made this gesture:
"I said it was a fake video, it is a gesture that I've never done in my life, and the Germans deserve better media."
Yet the images of the Zagreb conference which Varoufakis participated images filmed in 2013, the show do well obscene gesture. A gesture anyway removed from its context, and that was not a challenge, much less an insult to Germany.
