Edward Snowden reformulates his application for political asylum in Switzerland. On the occasion of the screening of a documentary about him to Moscow, where he has taken refuge since 2013, the whistleblower said that he kept the "wonderful memories" of Geneva. There he worked for the US Embassy between 2007 and 2009, hacking of telecommunication systems.
Snowden, whose American passport was withdrawn, has filed applications for asylum in 21 countries, who all refused.
He also found it impossible to return to the United States, where it is impossible to have a fair trial. The only guarantee I was done, said Edward Snowden, is that I will not be executed.
