A partnership on reforms between Greece and the OECD

"" I do not want Greece to reform, I want to turn, "Alexis Tsipras, Greek Prime Minister."

This is technical assistance for implementation in several areas such as taxation, the fight against corruption and the development of competition.

The document was signed in Paris between the Secretary General of the OECD, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development Angel Gurria and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

"I personally do not think a leash, I think maybe for the first time, Greece resolute determination to move forward on reforms with the cooperation of institutions and I think this will help our partners realize that they too must help us, "said Alexis Tsipras.

A month and a half after the arrival of the radical left in power, Alexis Tsipras again reminded that Greece had "a vital need to restructure its debt."

It is in this context of often tense talks with Athens partners, notably Germany a controversy erupted. Wolfgang Schäuble, the German finance minister is accused of having offended his Greek colleague, Yanis Varoufakis. Schäuble denied on a very irritated tone talking "nonsense". The Greek Embassy in Berlin had previously issued a formal protest.

Climate, we see the least particular substantive discussions in Athens between Greece and its creditors and this Friday between the Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Alexis Tsipras in Brussels.
