The former treasurer of the Popular Party (PP), Luis Barcenas, regained freedom on Thursday night, after a year and a half in custody. It bail of 200,000 euros.
His trial should take place in the coming months. Luis Barcenas is prosecuted for corruption, tax fraud and embezzlement. A matter that greatly tarnishes the image of the Conservative Party, currently in power.
