In Egypt, the fourth anniversary of the 2011 revolt was marked by a series of violence that killed at least eleven deaths.
In Cairo, clashes broke out between security forces to supporters of former president Mohamed Morsi. Two Islamist protesters were killed. The police reported on its side several wounded. Two of them were affected by the explosion of a small bomb in eastern Cairo.
All the Egyptian capital was placed under high security. Islamist protesters denouncing the authoritarian regime of President al-Sissi and repression they claim to be victims. A tram was particularly on fire.
Violence also erupted in Alexandria, where a protester was shot dead after opening fire on the police.
