Sending Russian troops in Ukraine: Moscow denies

Moscow denied on Tuesday that 700 Russian soldiers had entered the eastern Ukraine to help pro-Russian rebels, as affirmed Kiev yesterday. This accusation and denial came as the situation remains tense in the separatist stronghold of Donetsk. At least two civilians were killed and eight others seriously injured Tuesday morning by gunfire that hit a bus stop and shops, according to the separatists.

"After the second explosion, we went out into the street. We heard people screaming and crying. We have seen that a person was injured and the husband of a woman was killed, "he told a resident of Donetsk.

While the Ukrainian army has reported a hundred rebel attacks on its positions in 24 hours, the rebels accuse the Ukrainian forces to concentrate around Donetsk.
