Ok Iceland: it bard to Bárðarbunga


The eruption of the Icelandic volcano, the largest two centuries, began in August. Since then, the lava flows do not seem to want to stop.


As seen in these images, the area occupied by molten rock is immense. In total, more than 85 km2 are covered with lava, or the surface of Manhattan. The area, fortunately largely desert, the few villages were evacuated, is shaken by daily earthquakes.
