In Mexico, the families of 43 missing students announced that they will now conduct their own research in the hope of finding their loved ones. They have again demonstrated Sunday in Mexico City to protest the inaction of the government, which was unable, for three months, to solve the riddle of their disappearance.
"We'll pick them ourselves, says the father of a student. We do not trust the government because it does not do anything for us. All we say is give up. Is the Mexican president would abandon if it were his own son? '
Families have released balloons from the center of Mexico City. Many still hope to find young men alive.
The 43 Mexican students were gone there three months Iguala in Guerrero. They were attacked by corrupt police and handed over to a local criminal group that would have brutally murdered. Mass graves have been discovered, but so far only one body has been identified. Mexican authorities have received assistance from the FBI for making DNA testing.
