Death of the Italian musician Pino Daniele


Guitarist and Italian singer Pino Daniele died of a heart attack last night at his home in Tuscany. Self-taught musician, he was known in the mid-1970s with '' Napule ', a poetic song about Naples, his hometown. His repertoire is a mix of jazz, rock and blues. He also composed music for films. On stage, he played with renowned guitarists such as Eric Clapton and Pat Metheny.


With heart failure, he had, in recent times, limit its presence on stage. He was to celebrate next March his sixtieth birthday.
