US Secretary of State in Rome for a series of talks on the tensions in the Middle East


The head of Russian diplomacy Sergei Lavrov, shook his schedule and traveled to Rome this Sunday to talk with US Secretary of State, John Kerry, draft resolutions to restart the process peace between Israelis and Palestinians. It is the first of a series of interviews that should lead John Kerry in the Italian capital. To Lavrov, it is "crucial" to do everything to prevent "the situation deteriorate further." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must also meet John Kerry in Rome on Monday and is expected to repeat his refusal to consider an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and East Jerusalem in two years, as requested by the Palestinians.
