Pakistan between recollection and vigilance after the attack in Peshawar

Pakistani Christians gathered yesterday in some places of worship around the country. Five days after the massacre in Peshawar school that killed 149 people, including more than 130 schoolchildren, ceremonies were held in the Cathedral of St. Mary of Lahore, the capital Islamabad but also in the south, Karachi.

Since the attack in Peshawar and the lifting of the moratorium on the death penalty that followed, six Islamist fighters have been executed, without any connection to the attack. Pakistani court and announced that it intends to conduct hundreds of executions in the coming weeks.
