Oil pollution in the desert in Israel
An oil slick extends into the desert to a nature reserve 20km north of the seaside resort of Eilat on the Red Sea at the southern end of the Jewish state. A problem with a pipe of a pipeline would be involved. Israeli Environment Minister speaks of one of the worst disasters in the history of the country.
