The US giant car with driver (VTC) is prohibited in Spain since yesterday. Justice ruled for the taxis who had complained of unfair competition. The judge also ordered the telecommunications operators and electronic payment service providers to prohibit transactions involving the firm.
Uber is also illegal in Thailand, but in Bangkok service cost up to two times more expensive than a taxi.
